Sierra Leone

More than half of the population in Sierra Leone lives in extreme poverty and only 1 in 10 people have electricity.

The education system is weak and there are limited opportunities for the 100,000 young people entering the job market each year. The Ebola epidemic in 2014 severely damaged the economy and Sierra Leone had to rely heavily on aid.

We have worked extensively in Sierra Leone, helping to develop the mining sector, enhancing water, sanitation and transportation, improving government processes and revenue collection as well as encouraging investment.
