Country
Liberia
After emerging from a destructive 14-year civil war in 2003, Liberia remains one of the world’s poorest countries.
The war left a legacy of devastated infrastructure and poverty, exacerbated by the 5-year Ebola epidemic from 2011.
In 2013 we began a major programme to develop markets and value chains in agriculture in Liberia, designed to reduce poverty, promote stability and reduce conflict. We have also worked on design of government structures and the civil service and services for the revenue authority.
