ASI UK OFFICE
Founded in London in 1992, ASI’s UK office is our global headquarters and the birthplace of our mission to transform lives by making economies stronger, societies more stable, and governments more effective. Originally established to respond to the growing demand for practical policy advice following the collapse of the Soviet Union, our UK team continues to play a central role in shaping and delivering development solutions around the world.
From our base near Blackfriars, we support a wide array of programmes across Africa, Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, the Pacific and beyond. Our work spans economic development, governance, infrastructure, education, and beyond—guided by decades of technical expertise and a deep commitment to impact.
The London office is also home to our global business support services teams, including Communications, People & Talent, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, IT, and more—ensuring that our regional hubs and project teams are equipped to operate smoothly, responsibly, and at scale. Our London team works closely with colleagues across all our hubs, helping to shape strategy, uphold quality, and ensure alignment with our values as a certified B Corp—committed to transparency, accountability, and impact across everything we do.
"From our London headquarters and regional hubs around the world, we support programmes from Somalia to Solomon Islands—shaping policy, strengthening delivery, and driving real change where it’s needed most."
