ASI INDIA

Based in New Delhi, ASI’s India office plays a central role in supporting and strengthening our global operations. While ASI has been active in India since the late 1990s—delivering major governance and reform programmes with DFID (now FCDO)—the office was formally established in 2003 and re-established in 2018 to reflect our evolving focus on business development and operational delivery in the region.

Today, the India office houses several of ASI’s core teams, including Business Development, Governance & Stability, Economic Development, People & Talent, and Legal. It plays a vital role in shaping and supporting programmes across South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

ASI India provides essential support to global initiatives such as the Public Finance Resource Centre, the Green Cities and Infrastructure Programme, and Boost Africa. It also anchors ASI’s global HR and legal functions—critical enablers of high-quality, compliant, and people-focused delivery across all of our regions.
